About the Performance
A collective of virtuoso musicians bridging Indian classical traditions with jazz, contemporary harmony, and global influences — together forming the Liquid Reality ensemble.

Liquid Reality is a contemporary Indian classical ensemble led by guitarist and composer Anupam Shobhakar and kanjeera virtuoso Swaminathan "Swami" Selvaganesh. Blending Indian classical music with jazz, contemporary harmony, and global influences, the ensemble presents original compositions that are both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition. Featuring Shobhakar's custom Kalima double-neck guitar alongside kanjeera, piano, percussion, and vocals, Liquid Reality offers a dynamic and immersive musical experience that celebrates virtuosic improvisation, rhythmic dialogue, and cross-cultural collaboration.
